We have many special programs including an after-school tutoring program in addition to the 21st Century After-school Learning program. Enhancing our curriculum are Music, Art, Computer and Library classes  which are provided for all students. All of our students also enjoy physical education and guidance classes. AES is dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles. All students receive a free breakfast and lunch.

We feel technology is an important part of the educational process.  We plan to introduce Chromebooks to our students in grades three through five during this upcoming school year.  All of our classrooms have interactive Promethean Boards or Smartboards with projectors to further engage our students in learning.  We have also have a computer lab with an interactive Smartboard and student responders. We have two mobile iPad carts and multiple ipads in each classroom to offer teachers other modes with which to offer instruction. We also sponsor many academic competitions available at our school such as Civic Oration Speech Contests, First Lego League, and Battle of the Books. Our Battle of the Books team has won the county-wide competition  for the last three years and finished second in the region this past year!

Andrews Elementary faculty and staff  strive to meet high academic standards as they continue  to focus on the needs of all students. Through systematic and regular assessment of our students, and ourselves, Andrews Elementary will continue to be a great place to learn.
